sunset

Go lake-swimming in the moonlight. Vision quest in the wilderness. Eat by firelight. Launch fire balloons from the mountain. Experience dynamic meditation. Plunge in waterfalls. Build a tree-house or sweat-lodge. Dance to the five-rhythms.

Wild-Fire is an evolving, collaborative, non-profit initiative between a growing community of wilderness pioneers who believe that wild natural landscapes, and creative processes in them, have potential to bring new insights and learning to personal development, business innovation and organisational change.

The main product is the Wilderness Quest - a modern day adaptation of an age-old retreat process that has been central to many indigenous cultures for over 1000 years. Based on life-coaching, a 24 hour wilderness solo and creativity and intuition work it provides the basis for new direction and re-inspiration. (See testimonies and a summary of the process at Wilderness Quest). Bespoke courses have included leadership development and re-thinking corporate social responsibility (e.g. the Lifeworth CSR Retreat in September 2004).

Stunning venues in Snowdonia and other parts of the UK and Europe provide access to mountains, waterfalls and the sea. The next series of courses runs May to July 2008. If you'd like to join the mailing list for 2008 dates, enquire about the new 'Wild-Swimming' book or get involved, please speak to Daniel Start on + 44 7761 375717 or email daniel at danielstart dot com.
